Quicksilver owns DC Shoe company. The Australian company, which is headquartered in Huntington Beach, California, bought DC Shoes from Ken Block and Damon Way, the founding partners of the company, in 2004. Way and Block began the company's operations in 1994.
DC Shoes specializes in performance skateboarding shoes and also sells an extensive line of women's, men's and children's action-sports clothing. Some of the company's clothing offerings include boardshorts, T-shirts, jeans, sweaters and hoodies. The company's shoe line includes snowboard boots, sandals, tennis shoes and boots.
DC Shoes also carries shoe and clothing collections from other prominent sports-clothing designers, including Chris Cole, Initials, Defy Convention and Mikey Taylor. The company also offers men's and children's accessories, including hats, beanies, wallets, bags and backpacks, as of 2014.
Quiksilver also owns and operates Roxy, a young women's clothing line that features seasonal dresses, T-shirts, rompers, jeans and hoodies. Roxy also offers snowboarding and surfing apparel and accessories.
