Create two-strand twists with a weave or with singular strands of hair. Select a weave that is as close as possible in color and texture to the existing hair, and decide how long the twists should be. Put the hair into cornrows, and sew the weave in.
A stylist can disguise the weave's tracks by leaving some hair out when the weave is sewn in. To create twists using singular strands, use a bobby pin to attach a strand to each section of hair. Braid the strands into the first inch of hair, then twist the rest of the hair before securing with an elastic band.
It is best to create the style with damp hair, which adds body. Using a leave-in conditioner helps the hair retain its shine.
