Lay out the shirt on a flat surface with the front side facing down. Using a soft tape measure, measure from the center of the back of the collar to the bottom of the cuff. Keep the sleeve extended, away from the body of the shirt, as you measure along the sleeve.
Before measuring your arm, stand up straight, and bend your arms slightly, as if you have a finger hooked in a belt loop. Measure from the point at which your neck meets your shoulder to the palm of your hand. The soft tape measure should run along the arm and over the elbow.
