Organic Authority recommends this homemade conditioner that is simple to make; the ingredients consist of common household items. This conditioner also adds shine and has a detangling effect on your hair. You need hot water, apple cider vinegar, a sprig of rosemary, a bag of your favorite herbal tea and a container to hold the conditioner. The entire process takes about 35 minutes. The conditioner can be applied two to three times per week.
- Place hot water in the desired container
Place 2 1/2 cups of hot water in the container that you have selected. The container can be an old bottle or anything with a lid for storing the conditioner.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the hot water
Add one-half cup of apple cider vinegar and one-quarter sprig of rosemary to the hot water. Also, add one bag of your favorite herbal tea for fragrance.
- Allow the mixture to sit
The mixture of ingredients should sit for at least 30 minutes before use.
- Apply the conditioner
Shake the bottle or container thoroughly before each use of the conditioner. You should use about three-quarters of a cup of the conditioner each time you condition. Rinse hair well after each use.
