You can make your own pore-free facial mask or scrub using such ingredients as egg whites, brown sugar, lemon juice and oatmeal. These natural ingredients all have cleansing properties that help unclog pores.
While there is no way to shrink large pores or eliminate them completely, cleansing and exfoliating your face thoroughly on a regular basis helps to keep pores clear. You can further minimize the appearance of pores by using cleansing and exfoliating agents that specifically target clogged pores.
To make your own pore-free facial mask, whisk 1 egg white in a bowl until it is frothy. Next, add 1 tablespoon each of old-fashioned oatmeal and lemon juice to the beaten egg white, and mix until well combined. Spread the mask over your face and neck, and let it sit on your skin for 15 to 20 minutes. Finally, rinse the mask off using warm water, followed by a cool water rinse. The oatmeal gently exfoliates pores while the lemon juice cleanses and refreshes them, and the egg white helps to tighten skin.
To make a homemade pore-free facial scrub, combine 1 tablespoon each of warm honey and brown sugar with 3 drops of lemon juice. For best results, apply right after cleansing your face. While your skin is still damp, using a circular motion, massage the scrub into the areas on your face with the most visible pores for 3 full minutes. To finish, rinse off the scrub with lukewarm water. This helps to open up the pores.
