To make a homemade body wash, combine honey, jojoba oil, castile soap and vitamin E oil. You also need a hand towel, an empty squeeze bottle, a medium mixing bowl, a funnel, a long wooden spoon and your favorite essential oil. It takes about five minutes to make one batch of body wash.

  1. Rinse and dry the bottle

Rinse the bottle with warm water. Dry the exterior with a hand towel, and set it aside.

  2. Measure the ingredients

Pour 2/3 cup liquid castile soap into the mixing bowl, and then add 1/4 cup honey, 1 teaspoon vitamin E oil, 2 teaspoons jojoba oil and 50 drops of your favorite essential oil. Stir the ingredients with a long wooden spoon until they are thoroughly mixed.

  3. Pour the body wash into the bottle

Remove the bottle cap, and set it aside. Place a funnel into the mouth of the bottle, and pour the body wash into it. Use the spoon to scrape the dregs out of the bowl.

  4. Cap and shake the bottle

Secure the cap, and shake the bottle vigorously. Store the body wash in your shower, and shake the bottle before each use. Do not add water to the bottle because this introduces bacteria and shortens the shelf life of the body wash. Use your custom cleanser within one year.
