To make your face glow, exfoliate daily, and apply a moisturizer that contains ceramides, retinoids and vitamin C. Use a skin highlighter, and eat a healthy-skin diet.
- Exfoliate your skin
Regularly exfoliating the skin sloughs off dead skin cells, helping the skin reflect more light. Choose an exfoliating product intended for your skin type, and exfoliate every night before going to bed.
- Apply a hydrating moisturizer
Once you have exfoliated your skin, apply a moisturizer. Choose a moisturizer that contains ceramides, retinoids and vitamin C, as these ingredients restore important enzymes that provide a moisture barrier for the skin and help it to appear firm and bright.
- Use a skin highlighter
In the morning, after applying makeup, dab a skin highlighter in a champagne shade to your cheek bones, brow bone, chin and tip of your nose. Use a cream-based highlighter if you have dry skin or a powder-based highlighter for oily skin.
- Eat a healthy-skin diet
Avoid consuming too much alcohol or caffeine, as these dehydrate the skin and create a dull appearance. Drink plenty of water, and eat a variety of colorful vegetables to balance the pH levels of your body and enhance the appearance of your face.
