To make egg shampoo, mix raw eggs with vodka and lemon juice or olive oil. This shampoo takes about five minutes to make. The required supplies are eggs, plain vodka, lemon juice, olive oil, a fork, a medium mixing bowl and an empty jar.

  1. Bring the eggs to room temperature

Take two eggs out of the refrigerator, put them in a medium mixing bowl and set them in a safe, room-temperature location for one hour. If you have small children or curious pets, put the bowl in a kitchen cupboard or microwave oven where they cannot reach it.

  2. Break and whisk the eggs

Break the eggs into the bowl, and discard the shells. Whisk the eggs with a fork.

  3. Add the other ingredients

Add 2 teaspoons of plain vodka to the eggs, and stir the mixture with the fork. If you have oily hair, add three drops of lemon juice. If your hair tends to be dry, add three drops of extra-virgin olive oil. Stir the shampoo thoroughly.

  4. Pour the shampoo into a jar

Remove the lid from a clean jar. Pour the shampoo into the jar, fasten the lid and shake the contents for 30 seconds. Use the shampoo immediately. Refrigerate the leftovers, and use them within two days.
