To lighten armpits, dry orange peels and grind them into a powder to make a scrub. Make a paste by adding rose water and milk to the powder, use the mixture to scrub your armpits, and rinse off with cold water. Repeat this process three times a week.
- Cut the orange peels
In order to make enough scrub to use numerous times, peel several oranges. Use a sharp paring knife to remove the pith and most of the white from the orange peel. Discard these parts.
- Set up the drying process
Place the orange peels skin-side down on paper plates. Place these plates near a heat source to dry for two or three days. Skins can dry at room temperature, it just takes longer. Leave peels out until they are completely dry and even crunchy.
- Grind the orange peels
Place the dried orange peels into a food processor. Process the peels at a high speed until a coarse powder forms.
- Mix the scrub
Place 2 teaspoons of the orange peel powder into a small container. Alternate adding small amounts of rose water and milk until you have a thick paste.
- Apply the scrub
Use your fingertips to apply the scrub to your armpits. Massage the scrub into the skin. Allow the paste to sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Wash away the scrub
Use cold water to rinse away the scrub.
