A simple foot soak is 1 cup of Epsom salts, 1 cup of baking soda and 2 drops of peppermint or lemon essential oil mixed into 1 gallon of warm water. Another foot soak uses the same ingredients but substitutes 2 cups of kosher salt for the baking soda.
In a shallow tub, mix together 1 gallon of hot water with 1/8 cup of dried parsley, 4 chamomile tea bags and 4 drops of essential oil, such as lavender, mint or eucalyptus. Let the mixture steep for 10 minutes before using it as a foot soak. To make a skin softening soak, mix 1 cup of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of milk and 3 tablespoons of olive oil in 1 gallon of warm water.
An energizing foot soak consists of 1 gallon of warm water to which is added 4 cups of warm milk, 2 tablespoons of Epsom salts, 2 tablespoons of almond oil and 3 drops of peppermint essential oil. Soak your feet for 15 minutes. For a moisturizing soak, mix 3 cups of pineapple juice and 1/2 cup of coconut milk into 1 gallon of warm water, and soak your feet for 15 minutes.
