Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets opened in 1988 as the second outlet mall in the area. The other outlet mall has since closed, which makes the Pleasant Prairie outlet mall the premier outlet shopping destination in the Chicago, Illinois, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, metropolitan areas.
In 2006, the mall underwent a massive expansion, bringing it to double its original size. As of 2015, the mall features a trolley service on weekends to make getting around the shopping center quick and easy. A food court and guest services center were also among the amenities added by the expansion.
The Pleasant Prairie outlet mall is an outdoor shopping center with over 90 different stores, ranging from popular retailers to high-end designers. There are a variety of shops selling clothing, shoes, accessories, electronics, home goods and more. With so many options to choose from, this outlet mall offers something for everyone. The mall boasts savings of 25 to 65 percent off the original retail price, so shoppers are sure to find something to suit all budgetary needs.
The outlet mall is also located in close proximity to many local attractions, including Lake Geneva, the Jelly Belly Visitors' Center and factory, and the Six Flags Great America amusement park.
