To fix broken wheels on luggage, purchase a pair of wheels that match your luggage's brand, and use them to replace the broken pair. You need a pair of replacement wheels, a nut driver and a screwdriver.
- Purchase a replacement pair
To find a replacement pair of wheels, browse the official website of your luggage's manufacturer. Alternatively, look for compatible wheels at travel stores.
- Remove the broken wheels
Unzip and remove the inner lining of your luggage until you find the nuts and bolts that attach each wheel to the bottom of the luggage. Secure the nut driver around the nut, and use the screwdriver to loosen the screw that secures the wheel well within the wheel. Remove the clip from within the wheel. Loosen the nut from the bolt, and remove the wheel from the luggage. Repeat with the other wheel.
- Attach the new wheels
Position the new wheel. Position the washer against the wheel, and insert the clip in the wheel to secure the wheel well. Insert the bolt back into place, and screw the nut around the bolt with your fingers. Insert the screw back in the wheel well, and secure the nut driver around the nut. Use the screwdriver to tighten the screw, and use the nut driver to tighten the nut. Repeat with the other wheel.
