One of the easiest ways to tie a tie is by using the four-in-hand knot. The four-in-hand knot contains the fewest amount of steps involved compared to other tying options.
To tie the four-in-hand knot, place the tie around your neck with the wide end of the tie on your right side. The wide end should drape a little lower than the narrow side. Take the wide end, place it over the narrow end, and bring it underneath the narrow end. Again, take the wide end, and place it over the narrow end. Bring the wide end under the narrow end, then up through the hole created by the tie near the neck. Bring the wide end of the tie through the loop in the front that was created by wrapping the wide end around the narrow end. Pull the wide end down through the loop to tighten the knot. Pull the narrow end to tighten the tie around your neck.
