Box braids, otherwise known as Poetic Justice braids, are thin, tight braids. When installing box braids, the stylist divides the hair into small square sections and forms a three-strand braid from each one. Micro braids are similar to box braids, but they are made from smaller sections of hair.
Tree braids are partial braids that connect hair extensions to natural hair. Most tree braids lie tightly against the scalp until the end of the natural hair, with the remaining hair flowing freely. A knot at the end of each braided section keeps the extensions in place.Learn more about Hairstyles
