To take a detox bath, fill the bathtub with hot water, add Epsom salt, and soak in the bath for at least 15 minutes. The Epsom salt removes impurities from the body and promotes relaxation.
- Fill the bathtub with hot water
Fill the bathtub two-thirds full with hot water. Do not overfill the bathtub because the water will rise when you get in the bath.
- Add the Epsom salt to the bath water
While the bath is filling with water, pour 2 cups Epsom salt into the bath water. The running water helps dissolve and evenly distribute the Epsom salt.
- Soak in the bath for at least 15 minutes
When the bath is two-thirds full turn the water off and test the temperature of the water. If the water is too hot let it sit for 10 minutes, otherwise climb into the bath and soak in the detox bath for at least 15 minutes.
- Rinse off in the shower
After soaking in the bath for at least 15 minutes, drain the bath water and rinse off in the shower to remove the salt water from your skin. Take an Epsom salt bath three times weekly to detox and relieve stress.
