To cut your hair, collect all the hair into a ponytail at the top of your head, and secure it with an elastic band. Move the elastic down almost to the end of the ponytail. Make sure that the ponytail you leave sticking out of the elastic is as long as the amount of hair you want to remove. Cut off the end of the ponytail. Make sure to hold the scissors straight, and cut evenly across the ponytail.
To cut your hair in a different way, divide all of your hair into sections. To do this, make two sections on the left and right side of the head, take the middle section between them, and divide it into front and back sections. Make two sections in front of the head on the left and right, and secure them with clippers. Leave the back sections on your back.
Remove the clip from the top-front section of the hair, hold the hair between your forefinger and middle finger, and move the fingers to where you want to cut the hair. Cut the hair just beneath the fingers. Trim all the other sections you've made one by one in the same way. Once you are done cutting the hair, inspect the layers you've made, and cut off all the uneven hairs. Be careful not to cut off too much hair, as you can always remove more later.
