According to celebrity brow stylist Sania Vucetaj, the best ways to get the perfect brows are by finding the right shape, following tried and true brow guidelines, brushing forward, tweezing, trimming, and using a brow pencil. With a bit of practice, anyone can have red carpet-worthy eyebrows.
The first step to celebrity-caliber eyebrows is deciding on the right shape. While full, groomed arches are exotic, people not blessed with a thick brow can achieve great results too. Start the grooming process by envisioning the desired brow shape. The inner corners of the brow should line up with the bridge of the nose, and the arch should begin three quarters of the way into the eyebrow. The remainder of the brow should taper off, in accordance with the angle of the eye.
Before plucking, fill in the eyebrows with a brow pencil. This helps to stave off over plucking. Then brush the brow hair upwards. Tweeze the brows with a pair of slant-tipped tweezers. Only pluck beneath the brow; do not pluck above it. Amateur tweezers can ruin the shape of their brows by plucking into the arch from above. Once the plucking is finished, fill in any sparse areas with an eyebrow pencil. Then set the brows with a light coat of clear powder.
