Care for your Sorel boot liners by soaking them in soapy water, rinsing them in clean water and letting them air dry. Spot clean any stains with a damp cloth and warm water. Never machine wash or dry any Sorel boot liners.
- Clean the boot liners in soapy water
Fill a sink with cool water, and add 1/4 tablespoon of mild detergent. Put the boot liners in the water, and swirl it around. Let them soak for about 10 minutes. Squeeze them gently to get any remaining dirt out.
- Rinse the boot liners
Pull the boot liners out of the soapy water, and lay them on a clean cloth. Drain the soapy water, and wash away any soap residue. Fill the sink again with clean water. Put the liners back, and swirl them around to rinse away any soap.
- Let the boot liners air dry
Blot the boot liners dry with a towel, pressing hard on them to release the water. Let the boot liners air dry, hanging them on a clothesline if available. Let them dry for 12 to 24 hours. Do not dry them in direct heat or in the sunlight. Spray them with fabric deodorizing spray if they don't smell fresh.
