According to many of today's fashion stylists, white pants or clothes can be worn any season of the year. However, it is desirable to choose an appropriate fall material like denim if pants are worn during fall and winter months. More than 100 years ago, the fashion rule was that white clothes, pants and shoes were worn only from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Although this rule was followed throughout part of the 20th century, designers like Coco Chanel did not observe these strict fashion rules and wore white throughout the year.
When it comes to accessories like white belts, stylists say that these items should be paired with pants or skirts that are neutral in color and colorful tops. Similarly, a white blazer is fine to wear during fall or winter seasons, but it should be worn with dark turtlenecks and skinny jeans.
