Swab the pimple with pure lemon juice, apply a paste of cinnamon and lemon juice or apply an over-the-counter cortisone cream. Allow the mixture to sit overnight and wash with clean water the next day. Those with a little more time may want to use benzoyl peroxide on the pimple.
A pimple is not fun to deal with, but there are ways generally considered effective at helping to get rid of that pimple overnight.
Apply lemon juiceMild to more severe pimples may respond to the acidic properties of lemon juice. Swab some on and allow to dry on the skin. Or treat more severe acne with a paste of cinnamon and lemon juice. Leave on overnight.
Apply cortisone creamInstead of acne cream, use an over-the-counter cortisone cream to reduce the redness and inflammation of a pimple. Just put a small amount of the cream right on the pimple and wipe away any that is not absorbed. Reduce remaining inflammation the next day with an ice cube against the spot.
Use benzoyl peroxideThose who have a couple of days time may want to apply benzoyl peroxide for a couple of nights. A 2.5 percent to 10 percent solution of peroxide will dry out the pimple quickly.
