Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Chic jeans were a staple in any woman’s wardrobe. People who couldn’t afford Gloria Vanderbilt, Jordache and Calvin Klein jeans gravitated to the Chic brand.
In the ‘90s, Chic jeans became obsolete, along with most of the other famous designer brands of the late 70s and 80s. Even though the jeans were largely unavailable, Chic continue to produce designer clothing.
