Using a warm compress and tea tree oil can help to bring a pimple to head. Pimples that do not come to head are sometimes deep cysts and may have to be treated by a dermatologist.
- Take a warm compress or a heated black loose leaf tea bag and place it on the pimple. Hold it there for about a minute. The tannins in the tea help reduce the redness and swelling.
- Acquire tea tree oil in either a non alcohol base oil or a gel. Apply this to the affected area once or twice daily. Let the gel or oil stay on the face for about 20 minutes before washing it off.
- Take hydrocortisone cream and apply a small amount on the area. Take a bandage and cover the area to help bring down any swelling.
