Robin Piccone, Vince Camuto, Minimale Animale and Kenneth Cole Reaction all make swimsuits with transparent parts. Skinz is a brand that constructs swimsuits that become very sheer when wet.
As of 2015, Nordstrom's Department Store sells a swimsuit by Robin Piccone that includes a crochet overlay. The swimsuit is a one piece, but the top is bandeau style with detachable straps. The portion that covers the torso is transparent crochet.
Macy's has a similar swimsuit by Kenneth Cole Reaction. This suit has a top that ties behind the neck and features a deep neckline. The one piece suit uses sheer lace to connect the top and bottom.
Designer Vince Camuto has a sheer panel swimsuit with a high neck. The suit features a racer back which is all done in mesh. Another mesh swimsuit comes from Minimale Animale. The suit is all mesh with appliqué at the top and bottom for coverage.
Skinz swimwear out of Florida advertises adult-only swimsuits for both men and women. The swimsuits are made out of semi-sheer or sheer fabrics. When these suits get wet, they become very revealing, which is why they are considered suitable only for adult swimming.
Rotita, La Perla ID Sarrieri, Top Shop, Marysia and Mandalynn also make sheer or sheer-paneled swimsuits.
