Highlight your natural beauty by developing a skin and hair care regimen. Choose a flattering hairstyle, and keep your makeup natural-looking. Wear clothes that fit well and flatter your figure.
- Develop a skin care regimen
Exfoliate skin before bedtime. Use an over-the-counter exfoliating scrub, or try a natural exfoliant, such as oatmeal. Use moisturizer and sunscreen every morning.
- Make your hair glossy
Shampoo the hair. Make a tonic of apple cider vinegar and water. Apply it to the hair, and let it sit for several minutes. Rinse, and follow with a glossy conditioner. Use a silicone-based hair gloss on towel-dried hair.
- Take care of the skin on your body
Exfoliate elbows and heels while still in the shower. After showering, slather on a thick body cream, and wrap up in a terry cloth robe. After the moisturizer has penetrated the skin, apply a liberal amount of sunscreen over your whole body.
- Style your hair
Select a haircut that flatters your face. If blow drying the hair straight, use a natural bristle brush to distribute the oils evenly. Aim the nozzle down the hair shaft to make hair glossy. If leaving the natural texture in the hair, use a diffuser when drying.
- Apply natural-looking makeup
Select a cream-based or BB cream foundation as close to your natural skin tone as possible. Use a brush to apply it in a thin coat over your face. Choose to emphasize only one feature on your face, and leave the rest of your makeup natural.
- Wear flattering clothes
Select clothes that fit you well and flatter your natural figure. Avoid following trends slavishly.
