Some beard styles include the goatee, the chinstrap, the full beard, the lightly shaved stubble look and the circle beard. A few different choices are the Van Dyke, which consists of a thin mustache and unconnected goatee, and the Imperial, in which the separated mustache is curled.
The Dutch style beard is typically an extremely full jawline beard with a shaved upper lip. Mutton chops are another less common modern look, but extended sideburn styles have been worn by men since the 1950s after being popularized by music stars such as Elvis Presley. The French Fork is a variation on a full beard that calls for a triangular cutout just under the chin.
