To apply an iron-on decal to a T-shirt, iron the T-shirt smooth and let it cool. Then place the decal on the T-shirt face down, and hold the iron over it until the design is set. Move the iron in a circular motion around the entire decal. Then rub the area with a cloth for 5 to 10 seconds, and let it cool.
To transfer an iron-on decal to a T-shirt, choose the iron's highest setting, and let it heat up for eight minutes. Do not use steam during the decal application process. Next, place a clean pillowcase over the ironing surface to rest the T-shirt on. Iron and smooth both the pillowcase and the T-shirt to make sure there are no wrinkles in either. Allow the T-shirt and pillowcase to cool before applying the decal.
Place the decal face down in the desired position on the T-shirt, and then press the iron firmly over the decal for 15 to 20 seconds. Maintain this pressure, and move the iron around so that it rests on different parts of the decal area, also for 15- to 20-second intervals. After the decal is set, use light pressure, and begin to move the iron in a circular motion around the entire decal surface for 15 to 20 seconds. Finally, set the iron aside, and rub the decal area with a soft, clean cloth for 5 to 10 seconds. Let it cool before washing or wearing.
