For dramatic eye makeup, reach for the shimmer, the sparkle and the volumizing mascara. This leaves your eyes looking big, bold and ready for a night on the town.
Use metallic eye shadows
Shimmering metallics are always a bold eye shadow statement. To create a dramatic look, start by smudging a beige metallic shadow beneath the brow bones. Add metallic purple to the crease of the lid, and finish the look with a ring of pewter liner around the upper and lower lash lines. Blend the shades together to finish the look.
Open the eyes with light shades
There are many ways to make the eyes look bigger. For a dramatic spin on the doe-eyed look, take a dark liner and apply it to the top lashes. Then, use a lighter liner on the lower lashes. Refrain from lining the entire eye with one color, as that can actually make your eyes appear smaller.
Apply dramatic mascara
Nothing says drama like long, luxurious lashes. Start by sweeping a coat of black mascara on the upper and lower lash lines. Separate the lashes with a lash comb. Then, go over the lashes with another coat of mascara. To create extra volume, try using false lashes.
