Dutchmen RV manufactures and sells a variety of trailers, including fifth wheel trailers, toy haulers, travel trailers and expandables. The company produces trailers under a number of brand names, such as Coleman, Denali, Kodiak, Razorback, Rubicon and Voltage.
Other brands manufactured and sold by Dutchmen include Aerolite and Aspen Trail by Dutchmen. Founded in 1988, Dutchmen was purchased by Thor Industries in 1991. In addition to Dutchmen RV, some of the other subsidiaries of Thor Industries include Breckenridge, Heartland RV, Keystone RV, Livin Lite RV and Crossroads RV. Thor Industries also owns Redwood RV, KZ RV, Bison Coach and Thor Motor Coach companies. With all of its subsidiaries, Thor Industries is the world's largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles, as of 2015.
Throughout its history, Thor Industries has received a number of awards and recognition, including being named in the Fortune 1000 in 2014. In 2004, Forbes named the company as one of the "Best Managed Companies in America," while in 2005, Fortune included Thor in its list of "America's Most Admired Companies."
