The Forever Alone image is located on the back of the U.S. $1 bill that debuted in 1963, specifically on the right side of the third step of the pyramid. The pattern resembles the face of Forever Alone, a popular Internet meme that denotes loneliness.
Several details can be found in both the obverse and reverse of the of the $1 bill. Some of these have official meanings and symbolism, whereas others have become sources of speculation and conspiracy theories. The unfinished pyramid has 13 steps that stand for the 13 original colonies that formed the United States. That one of its steps has a block pattern that seems to portray Forever Alone is purely coincidental.
