What Are Some Features of the Mazda CX-3?

The 2016 Mazda CX-3 is a compact crossover sport utility vehicle that features an i-ACTIV all-wheel drive; a 146 horsepower, 2 liter SKYACTIV-G engine; a push button starter; Mazda Connect; and optional i-ACTIVSENSE safety features. The model’s interior features dark red seat stitching, soft touch materials and slightly inboard rear seats. The CX-3 model is shorter and lower than Mazda’s CX-5.

Mazda CX-3 features the Mazda Connect system that includes USB ports, Bluetooth phone pairing, audio streaming, a 7-inch touchscreen interface, and a Commander control knob. In addition to BOSE seven-speaker audio system, the CX-3 also features SMS text messaging, voice command and radio. The model also includes active driving display, blind spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert and heated exterior mirrors. CX-3 features Mazda’s Head-up Cockpit Concept that directs the position of information displays and position controls towards the driver.

Users have the option to include Mazda’s i-ACTIVSENSE safety features such as Smart Brake Support, rear camera, lane departure warning, Smart City Brake Support and Mazda Radar Cruise Control. The vehicle is available in the body color Ceramic Metallic, which was developed by Mazda. With long hood and short overhangs, Mazda positions the turn signals outside the main headlamp unit. The headlamps are available with an integrated LED illumination line.
