Does Fashion Bug Sell Plus-Size Clothing?

Fashion Bug stores sold plus-size and misses clothing before all of the stores closed in 2012 and 2013. Ascena Retail Group closed the Fashion Bug chain after purchasing its parent company, Charming Shoppes.

Fashion Bug was a women's clothing store targeting consumers from 30 to 50 who were cost-conscious. The company struggled to balance stylish clothes with the low price point. The chain operated in the women's clothing arena for 70 years before closing. Lane Bryant and Catherines, two other stores once owned by Charming Shoppes, are still in business as of April 2015 and cater to the plus-size shopper. Catherines focuses on career and casual wear for plus-size women 40 to 65 years old.
