What Are the 10 Best Smartphones of 2014?

According to ZDNet, at the end of 2014, the ten best smartphones were the iPhone 6, Sony Xperia Z3, the Moto X, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Google's Nexus 6, the HTC One M8, Blackberry Passport, Nokia Lumia 1520, the LG G3 and the HTC One M8 Android.

The Sony Xperia Z3 features a waterproof case good for up to 1.5 meters. Additionally, a camera button on the case allows for underwater pictures. A Google Android system, 32 GB internal storage and front-facing speakers fill out the features on this phone. This phone comes with PlayStation 4 integration as well.

Released in September 2014, the iPhone 6 is available in 16 GB, 64GB or 128 GB models. It features an improved camera over the iPhone 5 as well as retina display and Wi-Fi calling support. The iPhone 6 Plus is essentially the same model with a few improved features, such as a higher resolution screen and optical image stabilization in the camera.

The Moto X features a 5.2-inch display and infrared sensors for motion controls and face tracking. It is available in either 16 GB or 32 GB and features a 13 megapixel camera, an Android experience and voice control.
