The KFC Yum! Center has different standard seating layouts for sporting events, stage events, and a Circque Du Soleil specific seating chart. There are also some small variances within each type of layout, particularly in the orchestra area of stage shows, as each performer has his own set-up.
The KFC Yum! Center, located in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, serves as a local sports arena and an indoor concert venue. The arena, which opened its doors in October 2010, serves as the home of the Louisville Cardinals NCAA men's and women's basketball teams, with a maximum capacity of 22,090 for basketball events. It is also the home of the Louisville Cardinals NCAA women's volleyball team, which uses the same seating layout as the basketball venue. With a maximum capacity of 17,500 for end stage shows, the KFC Yum! Center has also become a popular spot for concerts.
While the venue does have an on-site parking structure, it remains limited to 975 spaces, as of 2015. However, additional parking, which includes both garages and street spaces, can be found nearby. To avoid both an additional expense and traffic, the KFC Yum! Center encourages taking public transportation, biking or walking to the arena when possible.
