At the Tim Hortons Brier closing reception on March 8, 2015, Jim Cotter of British Columbia was presented with the Ross Harstone Award. Cameraman Jim Young received the Paul MacLean Award, and Harvey Lyons, a member of the curling club in Lorette, Manitoba, received the Volunteer of the Year Award.
The Ross Harstone Trophy is presented to a player by his peers in recognition of good sportsmanship, observance of the rules, exemplary conduct and curling ability. The Paul MacLean Award is given by the Canadian Curling Reporters to a media person who has made a significant contribution to the sport of curling.
Other winners selected by the Canadian Curling Reporters for the Tim Hortons Brier Closing Reception are the All-Star Teams. The First All-Star Team was Brad Jacobs, Ryan Fry, Carter Rycroft and Colin Hodgson. The Second All-Star Team was Brad Gushue, Marc Kennedy, Brent Laing and Ben Hebert.
