“X-Men: Days of Future Past,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” and “Interstellar” take the next five positions in the worldwide top ten grossing movies of 2014.
“Transformers: Age of Extinction” was directed by Michael Bay and was written by Ehren Kruger. Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammer and Stanley Tucci played the lead roles in the movie, and Peter Cullen returned as the voice of Optimus Prime.
The movie opened to negative reviews. It received numerous nominations at the 35th Golden Raspberry Awards, including worst supporting actor, worst director and worst picture. The movie became a huge box office success with a $1.104 billion grossing worldwide.
