"The Fault In Our Stars" hit number one in sales for both the print bestseller list and the juvenile bestseller list. It sold over 1.8 million copies and was adapted into a movie that was released in June 2014. "The Long Haul" is the ninth book in the "Diary Of a Wimpy Kid" series, and it was number two on the print and juvenile bestseller lists selling over 1.5 million copies. The number one spot on the Adult fiction bestseller list was "Gone Girl," which was also adapted to film and released in October of 2014. It sold just under one million copies.
All three books in the "Divergent" trilogy made it onto the top ten print and juvenile bestseller lists. "Divergent" hit number three with over 1.4 million copies sold, "Insurgent" hit number four with over 1.3 million copies sold and "Allegiant" hit number five on the juvenile list and number six on the print list with over 1.1 million copies sold. "Divergent" was adapted to film and released in March of 2014, boosting sales.
