The Mr. Tudball (Tim Conway) and Mrs. Wiggins (Carol Burnett) characters appeared numerous times over the 11-year run of "Carol Burnett" on CBS, with many memorable results. Their first appearance, which included co-star Vicki Lawrence as Mrs. Tudball, remained unaired until showing up years later as a Tudball-Wiggins flashback in a Carol Burnett reunion special. Tim Conway's ad-libbed set of rapid-fire one-liners and bloopers is a hilarious highlight.
Other Tudball and Wiggins skits include a holiday episode in which the two inadvertently celebrate Christmas Eve together; Tudball's awkward attempt to treat Wiggins to lunch during National Secretary Week; when Tudball's demand that Wiggins straighten up her desk leads to office chaos; and on Wiggins' birthday, when Tudball's attempts to spring a surprise on her and becomes increasingly frustrated by her bubble-headed behavior.Learn more about Art & Literature
