Karina Smirnoff's past partners on "Dancing with the Stars" include celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino from MTV's "The Jersey Shore." Smirnoff, originally from the Ukraine, is a professional ballroom dancer who began competing professionally at age nine.
In season 13, Smirnoff and her partner, "All My Children" actor J.R. Martinez, won the challenging competition. On two other occasions, she placed second, once with actor/entertainment host Mario López and the second time with "High School Musical" co-star Corbin Bleu.
