Were There Ever Any Shootings in the Galleria Movie Theater?

The Galleria movie theater may refer to the Regal Galleria Mall Stadium 16 theater in Poughkeepsie, New York, the Galleria 6 Cinemas in St. Louis, Missouri, or the Regal Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga, New York. As of 2015, there has never been a shooting at any of these three theaters.

Gun violence has been taking place in movie theaters since a gang-related incident occurred during a screening of "The Warriors" in Palm Springs, California, in 1979. The most notorious shooting in theater history occurred in Aurora, Colorado, in July 2012, when James Holmes opened fire during a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises." Twelve people were killed and 70 others were wounded in the attack.
