Prominent radio personalities of the 1960s included Bruce Morrow, Casey Kasem, Wolfman Jack and Robert W. Morgan. All of the popular DJs are members of the National Radio Hall of Fame.
Morrow was known as "Cousin Brucie" on the evening shift of New York's WABC Musicradio77. As famous as he was in 1960s radio, former Los Angeles DJ Kasem might be best-known for creating the "American Top 40" countdown in 1970. Famous from his days at XERF and XERB-AM, Wolfman Jack was a hit to audiences from Mexico all the way to Canada. Morgan's morning show on Los Angeles' KHJ was among the top rated throughout the late '60s.
