Williams has been known for his style, but his hat collection came to the forefront of the media when he wore a vintage Vivienne Westwood hat at the 2014 Grammy Awards. The media and fashion world went wild over the hat and heated debates started over whether it was or was not a Canadian mountie hat.
The hat also became an Internet sensation, with several parodies and memes popping up on blogs, videos and news websites. The fast food chain Arby's also got in on the fun, corresponding regularly with the famous singer via social media because the hat bore a striking resemblance to their logo. Since then, Williams has continued sporting stylish hats and the famous Grammy hat's legacy has lived on.
