Some of the events at the Cal Expo include the Global Winter Wonderland, the Harvest Festival, the Bridal Showcase, the Total Health and Fitness and the Sacramento Autorama. Events revolve around themes like holidays, sports, automobiles, home and landscape, and weddings.
The Cal Expo, located in Sacramento, is 350 acres and consists of 18 venues, as of 2015. Its Clubhouse is used for a wide variety of events, such as the Governor's Inaugural Ball, the California State Fair, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Sacramento International Auto Show and the Country in Park Concert.
Intimate rooms, like the aforementioned Clubhouse, are perfect for holiday parties. Buildings A and B book trade and consumer shows, while buildings C and D host conventions, dances and banquets. The Pavilion, vast in size, holds major festivals, sporting events, health and fitness expos, dog shows and the Special Olympics. The Cove at Cal Expo books outdoor events such as concerts, assemblies, graduations and awards ceremonies.
Home to hundreds of events each year, the Cal Expo offers catering, event coordination, box office support, security and over 15,000 lit up parking spaces. A water park fully equipped with a wave pool and water slide is available to guests, along with lodging via the award-winning RV Park for event attendees who come from out of town.
