AMC channel programming include movies, syndicated TV reruns and original scripted and unscripted TV shows. AMC, originally called American Movie Classics, aired classic movies until the channel changed its programming format in 2002. AMC added more movies from different eras to its format, along with original scripted and reality series.
AMC has two unscripted shows: "Talking Dead" and "Comic Book Men." As of February 2015, the cable channel's original scripted dramas are "Walking Dead," "Better Call Saul," "Hell on Wheels," "TURN: Washington's Spies," "Halt and Catch Fire" and "Mad Men." "Mad Men" is AMC's longest-running original drama and will end in mid-2015. "Better Call Saul" is the prequel spin-off of the channel's hit show "Breaking Bad," which ended in 2013.
