Philippine TV news program "TV Patrol" airs primetime daily from 6:30 p.m. to 7:40 p.m. in Manila and the rest of the Philippines, as of September 2015. The program also broadcasts simultaneously on radio station DZMM.
First aired in 1987, "TV Patrol" is the longest-running evening news program in the Philippines. It features Philippine news and current affairs in the Tagalog language and, as of August 2015, veteran anchors Noli de Castro, Ted Failon and Bernadette Sembrano present the news. There are also several regional versions of "TV Patrol" that broadcast in earlier time slots, such as "TV Patrol Northern Luzon," "TV Patrol Central Visayas" and "TV Patrol Chavacano." In North America, Europe and elsewhere, viewers can watch "TV Patrol" on cable and satellite channel The Filipino Channel.
