The 2015 Taste of Chicago schedule of events included performances by award-winning musicians, such as Erykah Badu and Weezer. There are also the Pure Leaf Celebrity Chef du Jour events at which renowned chefs, restaurateurs and master sommeliers collectively prepare multi-course meals for attendees.
Maze featuring Frankie Beverly, Spoon and The Chieftains are some other musical acts that appeared during the 2015 Taste of Chicago festival at the Petrillo Music Shell. In addition to music and ticketed events, attendees sampled wares from 10 different food trucks on each day of the festival, pop-up restaurants and five-day restaurants, in which 30 different local restaurants offered assortments of menu items daily.
Food trucks parked along Butler Field near Petrillo Music Shell and on South Columbus Drive near the Bud Light Stage. Trucks remained open and accessible all day. Harold's Chicken, Little Tittle's Cupcakes, Chicago Lunchbox, The Fat Shallot and La Cocinita are some food trucks that participated in the 35th annual Taste of Chicago festival.
The 2015 Taste of Chicago festival's Pure Leaf Celebrity Chef du Jour events brought the public together with chefs Tanya Baker, Philip Voss, Thomas Lents and Giuseppe Tentori. Master sommelier Alpana Singh contributed wine selections.
