Tamela Mann is an American singer, actress and songwriter. Mann identifies as a gospel singer, and appears on television in shows including "Meet the Browns" and "Diary of a Mad Black Woman." She entered the film and television scene in the early 1990s, and continues performing on-stage and on set.
Mann demonstrated promise as a singer when she was a child. Raised in a religious family, she attended church with her parents, and stood out as a soloist before the age of 13. Several of her albums, including "The Master Plan" and "Best Days," released in 2009 and 2012, respectively, enjoy immense popularity among gospel fans, who voted them into the top spots on gospel music charts.
