To get a story featured in the Herald Dispatch newspaper, go to, and click the Customer Service link. The Customer Service link is located in the lower center portion of the Web page. Select the Send a Letter to the Editor button, and submit your story. The Herald Dispatch features stories that cover community happenings and current events.

To submit photos or videos with your story, click the light bulb button on the Customer Service page. In addition to news stories, the Herald Dispatch features personal celebrations, such as engagements, weddings and anniversaries.

Residents of Putnam County, West Virginia and Lawrence County, Ohio receive localized versions of the Herald Dispatch called the Putnam Herald and the Lawrence Herald.

The Herald Dispatch is a newspaper distributed in the Huntington, West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and southern Ohio Tri-state areas. As of 2016, it is available in print and digital formats.
