Mark Williams stars as the title character in the BBC period crime drama "Father Brown," airing on PBS. Williams is best known for his portrayal of Arthur Weasley in the "Harry Potter" film series.
The program also stars actress Sorcha Cusack, previously known for her role in the long-running BBC medical drama "Casualty," as parish secretary Mrs. McCarthy. Nancy Caroll plays Lady Felicia, the program's primary antagonist.
"Father Brown" is loosely based on the character of the same name created by novelist G. K. Chesterton. Some episodes are inspired by Chesterton's original stories, although most episodes are original content written for the TV series.
