What Are Some Stage Plays by Tyler Perry?

Tyler Perry has written plays such as "Diary of a Mad Black Woman," "Why Did I Get Married," "Meet the Browns," and "Madea Goes to Jail." Perry wrote his first play, "I Know I've Been Changed," in 1992, though it didn't get any recognition at the time.

It wasn't until 1998 that Perry finally got the break he needed, when a local theater ran his show. After that, Perry continued to produce plays and eventually many of his plays were adapted for the big screen. The first of his plays to hit theaters was "Diary of a Mad Black Woman." Today, Perry continues to write plays and produce movies.
