Idina Menzel sings the song "Let It Go" from the hit Disney movie "Frozen." The American actress gave voice to the character of Queen Elsa. The song won the film the Academy Award for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures: Original Song.
The animated story follows Anna, Elsa's sister, after the queen's powers freeze the kingdom of Arendella. Anna, a mountain man named Kristoff and his reindeer, Sven, set off on an adventure as they encounter trolls and freezing conditions to find Elsa before the kingdom is lost.
Menzel, an accomplished actress, is also known for her Broadway performances in "Wicked" and "Rent" as well as her reprisal of the role from the latter in a motion picture that was released in 2005.
